Our Growth

For the past five years, we’ve experienced remarkable growth in response to the increasing demand for our curriculum. From the 2021-22 school year to the 2025-26 school year, the number of students in our U.S. cohort has increased by 213 percent. As students and teachers continue to navigate unprecedented educational challenges in 2027, MAXCourage is reaching more communities than ever before. Our program remains free of charge, ensuring accessibility for all who want to engage with our resources.

Teachers, Parents, and Students Say…

"I think the biggest impact that the MAXCourage Curriculum has had on my students is to let them know that they don’t have to be perfect, their story doesn’t have to be perfect, but what we’re really trying to get here is to make sure that you’re heard."

MAXCourage Afterschool Teacher

“My daughter faced many difficulties with the language and with adapting. This boosted her self-confidence; she began to believe in herself more. She is very happy, and it helped her a lot to understand that everyone has their own way of facing life's obstacles. The important thing is to believe—and never give up.”

— MAXCourage Parent (Translated from Portuguese)

"The biggest impact that I see of the Courage Curriculum, especially where I am now, is that it’s a community-builder... There’s something so powerful about the authenticity of it, as all of them are working towards a common goal of submission... this ability to create community through writing, and through storytelling, and through finding your voice is something that our sixth graders go on to think about throughout their entire experience in [my district]."

MAXCourage Teacher

“Winning the MAXCourage essay contest was a transformative experience that reinforced the significance of my voice at a young age… At a time when uplifting minorities and diversity was not trendy, MAXCourage amplified my narrative and empowered my truth.”
